Industry Up-Skilling Programme

In response to requests from numerous business organisations, CITTI is launching the “Industry Up-Skilling Programme”.

A range of courses (shown below) are being offered during February and March 2019 in the areas of leadership and management, human resources management and effective business communication.

These courses are contextualised to meet the needs of organisations and their staff in the Cook Islands.  Delivery will be of a practical nature with all participants expected to participate fully.  This approach will ensure that participants benefit from practising the skills and applying the knowledge they will acquire.

Venue: CITTI Arorangi Campus – Room 1

Duration:  One (1) day – 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Cost per student:  $100 per course

Qualification: CITTI Certificate of Completion in the appropriate course

Tutor:  Sharyn Paio, M.Ed.M.^{(1st Class Hons)}; PGDip.SM; CTD; T.Dip.T; Dip Tchg.

Sharyn has been involved in education for 40 years, both in NZ and in the Cook Islands.  She has held senior leadership and management positions including HR Manager at OPSC, Secretary of Education – Cook Islands, as well as a range of principal and deputy principal positions both in the Cook Islands and New Zealand.  More recently she has tutored the Institute of Leadership and Management (ilm) Diploma in Business and an HR Certificate for the Cook Islands Tertiary Training Institute.
