In collaboration with the Ministry of Health, this programme covers relevant theory and practice required to develop as a Registered Nurse in the Cook Islands.
This includes the development of the knowledge, attitudes and skills required to meet the competencies required by the Cook Islands Nursing Council to register as a nurse. You will learn the value of optimizing the physical, mental and social well-being of people and their communities combining science, psychology and local wisdom.
HOW IT WORKS
The School of Nursing and Health Studies programme is run through the Ministry of Health and accredited by the Cook Islands Tertiary Training Institute.
