Trades and Technology Courses

Trade skills add value and skills to our islands. In partnership with the Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT), the Cook Islands Tertiary Training Institute (CITTI) will deliver national certificates in electrical engineering and in applied practical skills.

In partnership with UNITEC, CITTI will provide a national certificate in mechanical engineering. In partnership with Tereora College, CITTI will offer a National Certificate in Building Construction and Allied Trades. All trades courses run at CITTI, Faculty of Trades and Technology located in Arorangi for Semester 1

National Certificate in Motor Industry(Automotive Engineering) in conjunction with Unitec If you are employed in the automotive industry or ready to enter into the industry, you can fur-ther your knowledge of vehicle engineering with the National Certificate in Motor Industry (Automotive Engineering). National Certificate in Electrical EngineeringIf you are employed in the electrical industry or ready to enter into the industry, you can further your understanding of electrical engineering theory with the National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Electrician for Registration). You'll find out more about electric lighting and motors, electrical appliances and electrical instrumenta-tion. Improve your knowledge of switchboards, wiring and electrical cables, and low and high voltage.Full year programme commencing on 09 February. Part Time ongoing. Evening classes with some short daytime block courses .
